Tim Thomson
Tim Thomson is an active retiree with a broad range of interests and a strong desire to contribute to his community. He enjoyed careers as a naval aviator and with a Washington state port authority before retirement. During his 28-year military service, Tim served as the Commanding Officer of an A-6E Intruder squadron and of Naval Air Station Pensacola, the “Cradle of Naval Aviation,” as well as the Operations Officer of a carrier battle group. He retired as a Navy Captain. In his second career with the Port of Bremerton, he held his final position as Chief Executive Officer. As such, Tim oversaw the management and development of the Port’s Olympic View Industrial and Business Parks, Bremerton National Airport, and Port Orchard and Bremerton Marinas. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Forest Resource Management from the University of Idaho and a Master of Arts Degree in Management from Webster University. Tim holds an Airline Transport Pilot’s License.
Tim stays active in the community, serving on the Moscow city Board of Adjustment, the Moscow Rotary Club, and the Pullman Moscow Regional Airport Board. Tim and wife Denise delight in two adult children and six grandchildren.
