The Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport issues two types of airport identification badges: General Aviation Identification Badges for access to the Airport Operations Area (AOA) and Secure Aviation Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badges for access to secure areas of the airport. Airport Security Badges are issued only to airport employees, tenants, contractors, and individuals with a documented operational need for unescorted access. All applicants must complete required security training, fingerprinting, and a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) in accordance with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations before a badge can be issued. These requirements help ensure the safety and security of airport operations, passengers, and personnel.

Airport Operations Area (AOA) – General Aviation Identification Badges

All prospective badge holders requiring unescorted access must demonstrate airport operational need and must complete an agreement for a criminal history records check and be fingerprinted. Badges will be issued upon approval of results. If any disqualifying crimes are revealed, badges will not be issued. Badges will only be programmed for those gates for which there is documented aviation operational need. AOA badges must be kept on your person while in the secured General Aviation Area. AOA badges are good for 12 months. The fee is $35.

Security Identification Display Area (SIDA)

Prospective badge holders who need unescorted access to the Commercial ramp, SIDA, or Sterile areas of the Airport are required to complete a criminal history records check agreement and undergo fingerprinting. Badges will be granted following the approval of these results. Should any disqualifying crimes be disclosed, badge issuance will be denied. SIDA badges must be displayed visibly above the waist and remain valid for 12 months. The fee is $70.
